The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, fiends, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of characters who will separate from the primary party to undertake their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are rare.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might seem unsuited, but the events of the latest installment show why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing initiated the story’s plot—exploited the enemy for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each character has a individual motive to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty location.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate Teor and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their position as key figures in the powerful family could enable the group access locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This means them no alternative but to head to the remote area in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the combat party won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to round up the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Audiences can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
